My mom makes the BEST pie! Her pie crust is so flakey and buttery. I have not tasted a better pie crust. Even in a nice restaurant, their pie crust does not compare. Really. And the apple dumplings are excellent and remind me of my oldest sister's birthday because she always requested them. The dough is outstanding and the syrup that goes over them is so scrumptious. The light-as-air sourdough biscuits remind me of a warm Sunday afternoon. And there is nothing better than hot homemade bread with butter and honey right after school. All of the homemade treats on the DVD are close to my heart.
